The CHIPSA is equipped with a full service 24x7 ICU and ER surgical suite, laboratory facilities, x-ray, ultrasound, dark field microscopy, pediatric ward, physical therapy department and a host of other services.

The healthcare staff organizes visiting lectures and activities for patients and their companions. Relatives are invited and encouraged to stay with their loved ones for support. An expansive sun deck with a pacific ocean view gives patients a place to relax and visit relatives and companion guests.

Entertainment & Library
Satellite TV is found in the lecture room on the 5th floor. Painting supplies and book exchange is available — and please feel free to leave books of your own for our growing library-exchange. Our library includes audio & video tapes, scientific papers, alternative medicine books and magazines.

Internet Web Services and Newspapers
San Diego Union Tribune & Los Angeles Times are available in the lobby of the first floor. Wireless broadband access and dial-up is avialable. Special papers and publications should be requested before visit. The staff will attempt to retrieve reading material and books as possible.

Shopping & Beach Access
Gift shops locally supply clothing, post cards and other items. Tours to downtown Tijuana and Rosarito, Saturdays 2:00-4:00pm. Beach visits are possible upon 24-hour notice or every weekend.

Transportation
CHIPSA provides private shuttle transportation to and from the San Diego International Airport, for your comfort and convenience.
